Meet The Kismet Ketamine & Wellness Infusion Team

Meagan Steele, CRNP
Medical Director | Co-Founder | Kismet
Meagan is a board-certified family nurse practitioner credentialed by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University and her Master’s degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. Her clinical background includes years as a surgical nurse working with a wide range of anesthetic agents — experience that gave her an unusually deep understanding of pharmacology and patient physiology before she ever entered the practitioner role. When Meagan became a nurse practitioner, she became drawn to the emerging research on ketamine and its potential for patients with chronic pain and treatment-resistant mood disorders. That interest became a focus, and eventually the foundation of Kismet. As Medical Director, Meagan oversees all ketamine therapy protocols, conducts medical evaluations, manages patient safety throughout the infusion process, and coordinates with the rest of the team to ensure that every aspect of a client’s medical care is aligned with their therapeutic goals. Meagan is also a co-founder and owner of Kismet Ketamine, Psychotherapy and Wellness.

Rick Steele, LCSW-C, CCTP
Trauma Psychotherapist | Co-Founder | Kismet
Rick is a Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional with over a decade of clinical experience. Before becoming a therapist in 2015, he spent years as a photojournalist, war photographer and foreign correspondent, traveling to some of the most devastated places on earth. That work gave him a firsthand understanding of how trauma reshapes a person — not as an abstract concept, but as something he witnessed and lived. That understanding is the foundation of everything he has built since. He is certified in both EMDR therapy and Brainspotting with deep expertise in Internal Family Systems therapy. He is a longtime member of MAPS — the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies — and has spent years studying the therapeutic potential of psychedelic medicines, bringing that knowledge directly into his work with ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), EMDR and Brainspotting. Rick is also a co-founder and owner of Kismet Ketamine, Psychotherapy and Wellness.
